Vegetarian Samosas


Finding it difficult to feed your child with veggies?…Well check this out! It’s a vegetarian samosas, filled with healthy chopped vegetables such as carrots, celery, potato, onions, leeks and wrap in a wanton wrapper. My family loves it, It is great for snacks or pica pica for a party……..Did you know that vegetables are home for many antioxidants that help your body protect from oxidant stress, diseases and cancers, and secondly, help body develop capacity to fight against these by boosting immunity.

ingredients: makes 30 to 35 pieces of mini samosas

  • 35 pcs wanton wrapper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium chopped onions
  • 1 medium carrots grated
  • 1 medim potato grated
  • 1 stalk tiny chopped celery
  • 3 stems chopped coriander
  • 1 cup of chopped cabbage
  • 1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
  • salt & pepper
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 pc egg
  •  1/2 cup grated cheese
  • Oil for frying

Procedures:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except the cooking oil and wanton wrapper. mix well
  • Place a spoon full mixture to wanton wrapper and roll it(like shanghai roll, or any shapes you want – triangle, square etc)
  • In a frying pan, deep fry samosas until golden brown
  • serve with sweet chilli sauce or some prefer just ketchup or tomato sauce
  • enjoy!!!
