Beef Stew with Spinach and Courgettes(Zucchini)

Do you like Beef stew? if you’ll ask me, I love it. Stew is a very simple dish and best of all, it’s easy to prepare. Sometimes great food doesn’t have to be complicated. When I want something hot and healthy, I always cook boiled dishes such as this one, It is a very healthy combination of beef and green leafy vegetables. Best food to serve for people suffering from hangovers and even for unwell feeling such as dizziness, headaches and even stomach aches. . .   Did you now that the vegetables present in this recipe such as spinach are rich in vitamin C, fiber and carotenoids. Add its lutein and bioflavanoids – spinach is a nutritional powerhouse. .While Courgettes is an awesome food to eat if you are trying to lose weight because it is very low in calories. The great thing is that it is also pretty filling……

Ingredients: good for 6-8 persons

  • 1.5 kilo beef brisket on bones
  • 1 pc medium courgettes
  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • 1 tsp pepper corns
  • 1 medium sliced white onions
  • 1 thumb size ginger sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced onion leeks
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 litre water


  • In a large sauce pan, pour all ingredients together except spinach and courgettes. boil for about 1 hour or until beef is tender
  • Then add in courgettes and spinach and cook for a minute. serve hot!!! adjust our taste by adding fish sauce
  • Enjoy!!!
