Avocado Shake

Avocado Shake – A refreshing drink to beat the heat this summer………….This is one of our favourite smoothie drink especially this summer season. Sometimes we also do this as an avocado icecream. Here in NZ, Kiwi’s usually have it as a sandwich spread to their toast or even a side dish to their meal. So it’s really amazing, Avocado is one fruit that can be used in almost every kind of recipe, from sandwiches, to your meal and even to your drink and dessert………………….Did you know that avocado is considered as the world’s healthiest fruit, because of its nutrient contents such as vitamin K, dietary fiber, potassium, folic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin C, copper, and reasonable calories in it. Avocado is also a good source of potassium, a mineral that helps regulate blood pressure. Adequate intake of potassium can help guard against circulatory diseases, like high blood pressure, heart diseases or stroke………

  1. One of my favorites for smoothies–and a whole lot of other recipes too! Even my fussy eater husband loves avocado, so I can really win with that one!

  3. oo nga pre…..nahinog eh…

  4. The first time I ever had one of these was in Brazil, but we just used the avocado, milk and sugar. I was sold. I tried to make it for my husband. He didn’t like it. I couldn’t believe it but I told him, no problem. I drank the entire thing all by myself! EXCELLENT choice! 🙂

    • The first time i taste avocado. I did not like it
Because feels like it has an after taste. But when you mix with something else like ice cream and sugar. Its heaven… Thanks

      • You’re right. Maybe I’ll throw the ice cream in there, and he might just like it! But then I won’t have the entire thing to myself. 😦
I just bought an avocado yesterday because of your post!! 🙂

  5. I’m already ready to try this, February weather be damned! But I will have to substitute a non-dairy ice cream. Is there one you think would best compliment the avocado’s flavor?

  6. Is it the lighting or just a heavy concentration of vanilla ice cream, because the blender shot looks a tad orange. In any event, do you like it with palm sugar too?
