11 spiced bbq porkchops

Its as easy as one two three… as we continue to create recipe on our 11 spice hotchips powder/bbq rub, we would like to share this recipe to you guys. . . . But before that, we will go with some healthy benefits of what ingredients we were using…Did you know that this recipe is mainly made with lots of garlic. Garlic can improve a person’s immune system. It has anti-cancer components that can prevent colon cancer and stomach cancer. People with more garlic in their food intake or diet have less riskof colorectal cancer or pancreatic cancer. Garlic supplementation can also reduce the development of cancer cells among people with family history of breast, prostate and throat cancers. Also, it is found that aged garlic lowers heart and intestinal damage common to chemotherapy patients…
So here is the recipe:
1 whole garlic chopped
2 tbsp 11 spice hot chips powder
1/4 cup light soy sauce
Salt and pepper
1 whole lemon juice
1 kg pork chops
4 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup water
Procedure:
1. Marinade by combining all ingredients together. (Mix all ingredients except pork and mix well, then combine pork) Let it set for 24 hours or overnight
2. Your choice- pan grill or bbq.
3. Brush with remaining marinade mix. Enjoy!!

Ingredients
4 chicken drumstick
4 chicken wings
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp achuette powder
4 tbsp GP garlic vinegar marinade dip
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp soy sauce
Procedures:
In a bowl, mix all ingredients and marinate chicken 12 hours or over night.
Grill in charcoal or pan grilled.
Serve hot with a GP marinade and dip sauce on the side.

Hi everyone. … its been a long time since i posted recipe. Been really busy as got a toddler now. Yes, we have a new member in the family. And shes really cute and very busy child. Her name is pepper by the way. …ok back to the recipe. I dont know if i will call this as a recipe as its a traditional food or way to celebrate a certain occaision. Its just any dish over the rice place in a banana leaf shared by numerous people. Just dont top the rice with soupy dishes as people will use their hands eating on this very long food table. We used to do it in fiesta, birthdays, even weddings or just normal group gatherings. As they say, its not the food, its not the place, its the companion and food that shared together. … happy eating!!!!
Pork Skinless Longganisa
This is my version of pork longganisa….. Every single longganisa has its own identity and version. As i follow my own cooking rules, i always make sure that every recipe i create is compose of my 4s secret taste buds… 4s is = balance of sweet, salty, sour and spicy. So its no longer a secret as i revealed it already…. Oooops, i forget the main secret, do it with love. This is my wife a nd daughter breakfast for almost every single week….Now back to longganisa, its a simple minced pork with my 4s ingredients. Are you ready???? Here we go….
Recipe????
500 gms mince lean pork plus 100 gms mince pork with fat. 1 pc egg, salt pepper to taste, 50 gms crushed pineapples, 100 gms brown sugar, chili flakes to spice up, 1/2 cup banana ketsup. 2 tbs honey, 1/2 cup corn flour, 1 cup minced garlic…
Yes a lot of garlic.. combine all ingredient together and place in a cling film like a sausage style. Depending on the size you wanted. You can do thick or thin sausages… Freeze overnight…Cooking?? take out sausage in cling film and place little oil in a teflon pan, seared all sides then add in 1 cup of water and simmer for 20 mins until it is thickened. Fry until sticky and sausages are starting to caramelized…then fonish with little soy sauce around 1 tbsp….. Serve hot with rice!!!! Yuiummmyyy
Chicken burger and garden salad
Just thought of sharing my boss meal. Every single day i cook different lunch meal for her. ….As we sell burger in the cafe but she doesnt want to eat carb, so decided to deconstruct it. It comes out nicely and well presented. As we need to eat with our eyes first.. Its yummy. Try my gluten free chicken burger with side garden salad…..
Recipe????
300 grams mince chicken, 1 pc egg, pinch garlic powder, salt and pepper, 1 small minces onions, 50gms minced red peppers, parsley, 2 tbsp gf flour…combine everything then form a patty. Then seared in a metal teflon pan with little oil. Bake for 10 mins…makes 2 or 3 patties..
Plating:
Your favourite garden salad. Mesclun, cucumber, red onions, olives, feta cheese optional. Plus olive oil, lemon and salt and pepper for dreasing.
Using your imagination, plate up cooled burger and salad…topped with aoili dressing and ketsup if you wish…. Yuuum!!!
Lea’s Burger Patties for kids
Kids burger patties….. I will call this kid’s burger patties as this patties is loaded with meat and vegetables. Yes it is not a common 100% pure beef patties as i used lots of extenders such as vegetables specifically carrots, onions, potatoes, leeks and many more and I used lean pork mince instead of beef. Because my daughter hardly eat veggies so that’s why we hide it inside the burger. At first she is separating those tiny chopped veggies but since this is her regular meal n her lunch box at school, she doesn’t have time to do it. Now she love does tiny little veggies present in this burger patties. ……
Ingredients: makes 20-25 patties depending your desired size
- 1 kilogram minced lean pork mince
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 large minced onions
- 1 big carrots small diced
- 2 potatoes small diced
- onion leeks chopped
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 pcs eggs
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 2 tbsp seasoning soy sauce
- salt & pepper to taste
Procedures:
- In a bowl, mix all ingredints together and form a patties at approx 80-100 gms each
- Then place in a container and freeze. last up to 3-4 weeks.
- Method of cooking – pan-fried or grill
Spicy Pepsi Chicken
Pepsi Chicken………………..This is just out of curiosity recipe. Since I posted Coca-cola chicken maybe 2 years ago which turns out to be one of my popular post during that year. It came to my mind that i want to try it again. Because when you do food blogging at home, everyday is a different meal for us as I post every single recipe I cook at home. So back to the coca cola chicken, I was in the middle of cooking where everything is ready; I saute the onions, garlic ginger chicken, I add the condiments and last would be the coke as my substitute for water. When I opened my cup board. I saw ….. Yes I saw a PEPSI!!! and Its PEPSI MAX, no sugar! Wow, I said OMG! Since I think it is a soda as well minus sugar. I give it a try! Sorry Coca cola, you didn’t give me an advertisement for my post! and it taste good, maybe even better! (hahahaha coke) well, I like both Pepsi and Coke!…….Must try!
Ingredients:
- 3 cloves garlic
- 50 gm of thinly sliced ginger
- 1 kg chicken thigh and legs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 vinegar
- 3 pcs bay leaves
- pepper corn and salt
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 cup pepsi(softdrinks)
- 1 tbsp dried chillies(optional)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- dried chillies
Procedures:
- Saute and brown chicken in a heavy skilletby adding a little oil
- Add vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, bay leaves, sugar, salt, peppercorn, dried chillies and pepsi.
- Bring to a boil, simmer for 20 mins
- Cover and let simmer until it becomes tender. and all the juice is absorbed. add sesame oil before serving
- Enjoy!!!!!!!!!
Pork and River Spinach (kangkong)
Kangkong………….River spinach, one of my favorite green leafy vegetables. It might be quite boring if we eat this by its own, so i decided to cook it the adobo way. As I find lots of unwanted pork cutlets in my fridge, stir-frying pork and this river spinach might be a good dinner for us. Well, since we have lots of expenses these days. I decided to create a 5 dollar meal challenge for my wife and my daughter. …………Did you know that kangkong or river spinach is rich in iron, calcium, phosphorus, carotene, sitosterol, protein, vitamins A, B1 and C and has a lot of health beneficial amino acids. Other pharmacological effects includes antitoxin, laxative, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, homeostatic and sedatives (sleeping effects). Water or river spinach has a good effect in the intestines as it has purgative properties because of its fiber content. It also acts as insulin-like properties to control blood sugar for diabetes prevention.
Ingredients: (serves 2-3 persons)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 150 grams unwanted cut pork meats
- 1 medium liced onions
- 3 bunches of kangkong
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 3 pcs dried chillies(optional)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- pinchof salt
Procedures:
- in a pan, heat oil and saute garlic and onions, add in pork and brown for 5 minutes or until tender. then add kangkong seasoned with salt & pepper and add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 1 minute.
- serve hot!!
Futuristic Menu
Food in the future……………………My fellow bloggers, I would love to share you what we did in our 2012 Christmas Party in our Church. There is a competition were every group needs to design and create a futuristic dinner booth. And I am very happy to tell you guys that we won the first prize. Yes, the overall champion booth. Who knows this might be the start of a new generation that food in the future might come into a capsule. A flavored capsule which you can choose a wide variety of viand such as roast meats, vegetables, dessert, soups and etc. What you think?………..The lovely tomato flower curving was made by my wife!!!!!

Steamed Garlic Crab

Steamed Crab……………Just recently we are craving to eat crab as we had like 3 days in a week eating this simple steamed garlic crab. It is a simple “halabos na alimango” in our country (a tagalog word for steamed Crab). We had our own unique ways of eating this cfrab as my wife had her own dipping sauce (sawsawan) as she want chillies and vinegar and I go for a bagoong na alamang (shrimp paste)…yummmm!!! A very fast dish to prepare but a very long way to eat….You know how to eat crab, takes time!! hahahahaha
Ingredients:
- 4 pcs medium crabs
- some garlic and ginger
- little water
Procedures:
- In a pot with cover, place everything and bring to a boil in slow heat settings. When the crab turns orange. it is ready.
