Salt and Pepper Fried Chicken……………This is the simplest way to cook a very flavourful fried chicken. I remember when I was in Manila, on my boss house, there is an agent who is selling a “salad master cookware”, One of her demonstration is to cook a fried chicken without using an oil. She just seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper and place in a covered salad master cookware and cooked for 15 minutes on low heat setting and that’s it. You had a very flavourful and simple fried chicken. Accompanied by the fried chicken is our favorite coriander salad. You may noticed that most of my fried dishes here are always comes with a side salad made of coriander, tomato, onions, chillies and fish sauce……………………………Did you know that chicken is a very good source of protein which helps keeps immune system healthy. Ingredients: Serves 4-6 persons
- 12 pcs chicken legs
- oil for frying
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground pepper
- 2 pcs tomatoes quartered
- 1 medium onions sliced
- 1 bunch of coriander sliced
- 2 tbp fish sauce
- 5 pcs chopped chillies optional
- In a mixing bowl, season chicken with salt and pepper and rub evenly.
- In a frying pan, heat oil and fried chicken until brown.
- Enjoy and serve hot!!
